When it comes to accommodation during your stay in South Africa, there are different types of accommodation to choose from, the most common of which are; Hotels, Boutique hotels, Bed & Breakfast, Guesthouse, Farms and Wineries. We assist in booking well-selected accommodation during your stary in South Africa.
Are you planning a longer stay in South Africa? We assist in bookings of private villas, houses and apartments, long- and short-term rental.
High season and especially the peak season in December / January is very popular and require bookings of accommodation far in advance. Low season from May to August usually offers better prices on accommodations.
Safari
Experience the most exciting safari in one of the private game reserves near Cape Town, in the Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal (in eastern South Africa), Madikwe Game Reserve (in northwestern South Africa) or in the world’s oldest and largest game reserve, Greater Kruger National Park (in northeastern South Africa). Over the years, Upplev Sydafrika has been diligent and visited about 100 lodges in the above-mentioned areas. We are happy to share our experiences and assist in bookings for safari. We have listed the safari lodges that we recommend within each safari destination.

Car rental / transport
Enjoy the freedom and flexibility to be able to drive yourself around, while we arrange the practical aspects of your trip. Upplev Sydafrika assist in booking your rental car and in collaboration with Auto Europe we guarantee you a favorable price. If transport between the destinations is desired instead, we will of course assist in bookings.

Food and Wine
As a client to Upplev Sydafrika, we are happy to help you book your restaurants on location and you can also take part in our latest restaurant recommendations. We suggest fantastic vineyards of different character. We also help to arrange private dinners / events / wine tastings according to wishes and needs. Please note that during the peak season (Christmas and New Year) it is recommended to book restaurants for dinner (and sometimes lunch) every evening well in advance.
You can travel to South Africa all year round, but we recommend going September to May
Healthcare is good in South Africa. Even so we suggest obtaining a sound travel insurance before departure
As a EU and UK citizen, you will receive a 90-day tourist visa upon arrival in South Africa
